Summer Excursion Tickets
ON SADE DAILY—TIME LIMIT OCT. 31.
What it takes to maintain enthusiasm
the Tribune’s newsboys and cariers cer-
tpinly possess. Their newest evidence
of this possession is their interest in
and enthusiasm for the Al G. Barnes
animal circus, which will give two per-
formances in Galveston next Monday.
They are particularly pleased about this
event because they were informed the
other day that they would be provided
with tickets to the show Monday night
Every one-of them will be there and
will be whooping it up for all he is
worth.
Another thing that is pleasing them
tremendously is that the show, will ar-
rive in Galveston next Sunday and they
will have a chance to watch* the un-
loading of the animals and the pitching
of the big tents where the show is to be
given. Nothing pleases the youngsters
better than this, except the performance
itself. They will be on the job for both
events. Here are some things about
the show which have been communi-
cated to the lively youngsters:

'as the lion, leopard and bear are deadly
enemies and the most feared foe of the
horse, yet they have been trained to
work harmoniously together.
“Another spectacle, almost unbeliev-
able, is a horse carrying man-eating
Arican lions. These lions leap from the
ground onto the backs of running
horses and from the backs of the horses
through hoops of fire. The training of
these animals consumed months of
time.
“Astonishing; indeed, are the feats
performed by a group of seals and sea
lions. These cumbersome animals have
