Section 1. It shall be the duty of the
Mayu and City beuretary of the City of
comzuche, Texas, to eause to be posted
in th.e or more public places within the
corporate limits of the said City vt Co-
manche, Texas, the tollowing nottoe:
A reward ef $100.00 is hereby offered
by the City of Comanche, Texas for the
arrest and conviction of any person or
persons found guilty of arson within
the corporate limits of the City uf Co-
manche. Texas.
Section S. Any person entitled to receive
the reward mentioned in section 1 of this
ordinance shail make application to the
(aty Council, and on his furnishing suf-
ficient evidence/to satisfy the City
coucn that hel is entitled to such re-
ward, the city ouncil shall enter an
order autnorzng the p#vmeat of such
reward.
Section 4. The fact that there is now no
oruinance authorising the City of Co-
manche, Texas, to pay a reward for the
arrest and conviction of any person guilty
of arson within the ciy limits, ana the
further fact that the Atate Fire Insur-
ance Cqamission la authorised to reduce
the rate of insurance within cities which
have such an ordinance create an emerg-
ency and an imperative public neceasaty
that the constitutional rule requiring all
orainances to be read on three several
days be suspnded, and that thia ord-

Notice • hereby given, that by virtue
of a certain Order of Sale, issued by the
Clerk af the District Court of Comanche
county, on the 161h day of. September
1926, in a certain cause wherein A. H.
Oxford ix plaintiff andMortex Corpor-
ation is defendant, in favor of the snid
plaiutiff for the sum of Four Hundred.
Eighty-three and 85-100s Dollars, with
interest thereon at the rate of six per
centum per annum, from date ofjudg-
ment, together will' all costs of suit, that
being the amount of a judgment recov
ered by the said A. IL Oxford, plaintiff
in the District Court of Comanche coun-
ty, on the 20th day of April: A. D. 1926,
I I have levied upon, and will,.On the 4th
day of October, A. D. 1926, on Mondey,
at the gasoline manufacturing plant of
said Montex Corporation, about four
miles horthwesterly from Sipe Springs,
in Comanche county, within legal hours,
proceed to sell for cash to the highest
bidder all the right, title and interest of
the said Montex Corporation in and to
the following described personal prop-
erty, levied upon as the property of said
Montex Corporation, to-wit:
The gasoline manufacturing plant of
said Montex Corporation, and all equip-
ment used in and about said plant, in-
cluding four houses (other than resi-
dence), two stills, two gas engines, four
tanks (two of them being horizonta)
steel), railway switch, all connecting
pipes, one boiler (steam), the pipe line
running from the plant to the boundary
of the tract of land (from there leading
to the well), and also all gasoline which
may be on the premises.
The above sale to be made by me to
satisfy the above described judgment for
Four Hundred, Eighty-thrce and 85-100s
Dollars, in favor of A. R. Oxford, to-
gether with the costs of said suit, and
the proceeds applied to the satisfaction
thereof.
