Miss Lisa Kay Couch and
Mr. Robert Shawn Cone were
united in marriage on Satur-
day, December 21, 1991 at 6
o’clock in the evening at Tate
Springs Baptist Church in Ar*
lington. Bro. Charles Clary of-
ficiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Couch of
Arlington. She is the grand-
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pre-
ston Couch of Energy and the
late Floy (Pettit) Couch. The
groom is the son of Mrs. Ann
Cone of Fort Worth.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride selected a
bridal sheath designer gown
for lace, pearls and iridescent
sequins lavished a high, illu-
sion neckline and defined a fit-
ted bodice with a deep basque
waist. Tapered sleeves fea-
tured crystalline ruffled shoul-
ders and elaborate lace cut
outs. The sheath skirt fell
into a layered crystalline semi-
cathedral train.
Tb complete her bridal en-
semble she chose a veil featur-
ing a silk illusion pouff falling
into a fingertip veil which was
accented with pearls and iri-
descent sequins. She carried
an all white cascading bouquet
of bridal white roses, stephan-
otis blossoms, feesia and ac-
cented with baby’s breath and
English ivy.
Matron of honor was Lindie
Lawrence of Arlington. Brides-
maids were: Robin Hunt, Kim
Keene, Rachelle Powers and
Darlene Mainka. Junior brides-
maid was Heather Shortes of
Haskell, cousin of the bride.
Her attendants were dressed
alike in straight floor length
gowns of black moire with
a partial peplum in back
that dropped from a fitted
waist. They featured sweet-
heart necklines with an open
back accentuated with three
strands of pearls.
Flower girls were the bride’s
twin cousins Betsy and Car-
ley Childs of Brownwood. They
were escorted by the ring-
bearer, Luke Cone of Fort
Worth and hephew of the
groom.
Steve Cone, brother of th
groom, of Fort Worth served
as best man. Groomsmen were
