The under-10 Rebels remained undefeated Saturday as they
denied the aggressive Yellow Jackets a goal.
Goalkeepers Jeff Nelson (first half) and Jarrett Riggs (second
half) both made excellent plays during the Rebels 9-0 victory.
Outstanding offensive efforts by Kirk Baldridge, 3 goals and
3 assists; Geoff Buchanan, 2 goals; Ray Soles, 2 goals and 1
assist; Michael Accardo, 1 goal; Scott Garrett, 1 goal, and Jeff
Nelson and Michael Vance each with an assist.
As usual the Rebel defense proved to be stubborn when the
opponent crossed the center line. The Rebels remain one of
only two teams in the under-10 boys undefeated.
Congratulations to this newest team in the Colony Youth
Soccer Association.
