Miss Stambaugh
Dies in Celina
Funeral services for Miss Mary
Ellen Stambaugh, 68, of Celina,
were held at 3 p.m. Monday in
! the Methodist Church there, Rev.
Sherrill Hendricks and Rev.
Travis Holland officiating. Inter-
ment was in Cottage Hill Ceme-
tery, Helms Funeral Home di-
recting. Nephews served as pall-
bearers.
Miss Stambaugh was born in
Celina October 18. 1890, the
daughter of William and Rebec-
ca Herron Stambaugh. She died
Sunday at 6 a.m. in Flow Memo-
rial Hospital, Denton.
Surviving are two brothers,
Edgar Stambaugh of Celina and
Earl Stambaugh of Plainview,
and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the

and who made all-district last
fall; Halfback Al Whitsell, 150;

137, has earned one letter. The
backfield averages 155.
There are four juniors, six

Needham died at the home of her

our community for several years
and all who knew her loved her.

The Ladies’ Aid Society of the
Fitzhugh Cemetery Association
had their meeting at the taber-
nacle last Thursday to make;
plans for the annual chili supper.
They brought lunch and served
to the carpenters who built a
new platform. The annual sup-
per will be Thrusday night, Oct.
