May 28, 1948, the son of Houston
and Cleo Morris Braswell. He
was a member of the Altoga Bap-
tist Church.
Survivors are his parents; two
brothers, Randy Braswell of Al-
toga; Gibson Braswell of Prince-
Kinney. was drowned in Sister
Grove Creek late Sunday after-
noon while on a fashing trip with
his 13-year-old brother, Randy.

ney, First Methodist Church, was

lips delivered an inspiring, ap-
propriate message, which all ap-

Mrs. Ellen Gidney, mother of
Sam and Claude Gidney, invites
her friends to visit her at Park-
view.
This community extends sym-
pathy to Mrs. Boyd Taylor upon
the passing of her mother, Mrs.
Opal Bagley. The decased for-
merly lived here, and taught
school at Chembersville for sev-
eral years, also served as Sun-
day School teacher. The past few
years she made her home in Mc-
Kinney. but had fond memories
of this place, and chose it as her
last resting place, by being bur-
ied in Chambersville Cemetery.

erend David Sahr, pastor. Rev-
erend Sahr, who is graduating in
May from the Perkins School of
Theology at Southern Methodist
University, will be moving soon
to Bismarck, North Dakota.

The monthly Brotherhood
Breakfast will be held at the
Baptist Annex, Sturday morn-
ing, May 7, and the president,
Russ Tower, has a fine program
outlined and urges all members
to attend.

went surgery at Wysong. Mon-
day; Miss Decer Powell also con-
tinues a patient at Wysong’s; Har-
old Hendricks is a surgical pat-
ient at Wysongs. Durward San-
strom has entered Collin Me-
morial hospital for treatment. The
host of friends of Melba Kemp
will be happy to know she has
been released from Collin Me- I
morial and is doing fine.
