LeTourneau's new Peoria champion golfer is Charlie Stokes, safety engi-
neer. Charlie won Sunday at Northmoor from runner-up Bill Cole 11 and 10
in the finals of the championship flight of the Men's '45 tourney. In the
consolation flight Bob Prince beat Al Schutte 2 up. In the A flight Everett
Gallup took Fred Stevens 4 and 3. Finals in the B flight-John Colgan vs.
Claude Hailey-were postponed.Born: Carl Robert, jr. 7# 4 oz. 7/30,
son of Robert Taylor, training. Jerry

Thirty war veterans from Mayo
General Hospital, Galesburg, are
LeTourneau plant guests 8/9. With
Bob Prince as chairman for the day,
the veterans will tour the plants, lunch
in the cafeteria, in the evening be
dinner guests at the Pere Marquette
and attend a boxing match on Main
street.
Between storms Sunday, the Lock-
heed Lodestar made 6 of 9 flights
over Peoria scheduled to give em-
ployes a 15-minute air trip. Of 120
production, advertising, purchasing
and stores office workers booked, 81
flew. The other 39 got rain checks on
Pilot Bob Lyle's next excursion series.

dropped 2 games Sunday a.m. to
Hiram Walkers, 0-4 and 6-7. In soft-
ball, Welders beat Edelstein 7/31
11-1, Pitcher John Fisch allowing only
1 hit. Welders won 5-0 from Owen
Illinois Glass Saturday, Marion Edge-
comb pitching a 2-hit game and Law-
rence "Wally" Waldschmidt hitting a
triple and a home run. Blues lost Fri-
day nite to Keystone 3-4. At Glen
Oak Park 8/2 the Accounting soft-
ballers beat Stores Offices 17-10.Big 4 golf organizational meeting
of LeTourneau, Caterpillar, Hiram
Walkers, and Keystone to schedule
4th annual Tournament held 8/2.
Play was scheduled for 3 consecutive
Sundays, beginning 8/19, when Le-
Tourneau plays Hiram Walker at
Madison Course. LeTourneau plays
Keystone 8/26 at Newman Course;
Caterpillar 9/2 at Northmoor.

7/1 in tin shed at Bldg. H to handle
special tools and a variety of main-
tenance articles for plumbers, elec-
tricians, and welders.

napull isn't far below at
119, but Peoria is way down at 81.
The odd thing about it all is that
Peoria has the best equipment pro-
duction score - 101.53% of schedule.
And Vicksburg made only 82.76%
of schedule, while Tournapull put
out but 85.66%.
Peoria lost out on Safety because
of one lost time accident, on Presen-
teeism with only 92.55% of scheduled
hours worked, and on War Bonds
with 11.45% of base pay allotted.
Vicksburg and Tournapull tied on
Safety with zero frequencies. Both
had nearly normal Presenteeism.
