is the deepest producing well in Texas

pany is a thorough convert to the ,
closed car—-the car with the perma-
nent top. He says:
“If you are thinking of buying a
car this spring or summer you may
save some money and at the same time
• procure the very best type of trans-
portation for your needs if you will
thoroughly investigate the Oakland
Sensible Six with the improved, per-
manent top.
“Do not give credit to the erroneous
idea that the so-called enclosed car, or
Sedan, is distinctly a winter or bad
weather car. On the contrary, it is
just as distinctly a summer or fair
weather car. It provides just as many
comforts and conveniences in hot
weather, though of a different kind,
'as it does in cold weather. In fact,
.it is actually cooler on the hottest day
, than any open car can be because its
windows can be so lowered as to direct
the flow of air currents, and the mo-
tion of the car creates a continuous
cooling breeze.
। “Then there is the important matter
1 of cleanliness. Dust is kept out as
jefefetually as rain or snow. One move-
I ment of the arm and in two seconds
! any window is all the way up or all
the way down or at any intermediate
point desired. Passengers are alwaya
protected against sudden storms,
against clouds of dust created by pass-
ing traffic, smoke from passing trains
and other annoyances.
