2-1/4 cups unsifted flour
2 measuring teaspoons
cinnamon
2 measuring teaspoons
baking powder
1/2 measuring teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups sour cream
3 measuring tablespoons
Taster’s Choice freeze
dried instant coffee
1 measuring tablespoon
boiling water
1 cup chopped pecans,
divided
Preheat oven 350oF. In
small bowl, combine flour,
cinnamon, baking powder
and salt; set aside. In large
bowl, combine butter and
sugar; beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs. Blend in sour
cream. In small measuring
cup, combine Taster’s
Choice and boiling water.
Alternately blend in coffee
and flour mixture into sour
cream mixture. Stir in 3/4 .
cup pecans; reserve remain-
ing pecans. Spread batter
into greased 9” x 5" x 3’’
loaf pan. Sprinkle top with
raservsd pecans.
BAKE at: 350°F. TIME:
1 hour 20 minutes to 1
hour 30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes; remove
from pan.
NOTE: Can be prepared
ahead and frozen.

This last week we were
real busy. We weighted
country cattle in Bonham
and Graham. We also
shipped eight loads of
cattle out of our order
buying pens to feed yards
up Norht.
On Saturday we had a
full house. It was one of
out best turnouts and we
really do appreciate the
people from the Grand-
view area. Keith and
Johnnie says business was
real good in the Cafe also.
They cut up about 9
briskets o f their good
barbeque and served alot
of people.
Baby calves brought
$50 to $140 per head.
Light weight stocker
calves weighing 100 to
150 lb. brought $135 to
$165 per head. Calves
weighing 150 to 190 lb.
brought $175 to $210
per head. Good stocker
cows and calves brought .
$450 to $625 per head.
Light weight stocker
cows brought 46d t o
53d per lb. We had
several take home bulls
weighting 1200 to 1400
lb. That brought 484 to
.525. per lb. Packer cows
went for 35d to 424 per
lb.
Light weight steer
calves brought .62 t o
.775 per lb. Light weight
heifers ranged from 554
to 674 per lb. , Heavy
heifers weighting 400 to
600 lb ranged from 524
to 664 per lb. Heavy
steer and bull calves
brought .58 to .65 per lb.
