The Junior Varsity
girls finished the
season -Friclay night in
Grandview against
Clifton. The first two
quarters were very
slow with the score at
half being 12 to 6 in
favor o f Grandview.
The second half saw
the Zebras starting to
press and take the ball
to the basket. Grand-
view scored 10 points
in the third quarter
then scored 17 in the
last quarter to win 39
to 20.
The J.V. girls went
through District with
a 5 win and 0 loss
record. They have also
won two tournaments
this year and have
only one loss on their
record. These girls
-have played hard all
year and are looking
forward to playing on
the varsity next year.
The varisty played
next and they came
out shooting the hall,
At the half Grandview
had 29 and Clifton
had 16. The third
quarter saw Grandview
shoot, press and steal
the ball for lay ups
and score 23 points in
that quarter. At the
end of the game the
score was 62 for
Grandview and 38 for
Clifton. Melissa
Bennett was leading
scorer wittr -22 points.—
