To make this Centennial Exposition possible, the people, on November 8th,
arc asked to pass the Texas Centennial Constitutional Amendment authoriz-

The first of a series of voca-
tional lectures in Polytechnic High
School was given by Anna Greve
recently. She is the first woman
doctor who has spoken before the
Student body.
Her lecture was to give in-
formatioi to the pupils desiring
to follow the profession. "There
may. be students who have
planned to become doctors.” Doc-
tor Greve said, “but they must
take, into consideration • first the
difficulties and obstacles confront-
ing a doctor, if you like the voca-
tion. It will be very interesting
work; if you do not put your
whole soul and body into it, the
work will be unpleasant.”
