money to obtain some expert psy-
chological advice upon how to get
obedience from her son and bad,
no doubt, a viaion of ultimately
possessing that unknown thing—a
perfectly good boy.
She eon tided to me afterward
her horror on discovering that
her child did not respond to all
of these theories; that she waa
utterly taken aback when, after
having followed directions, she
found her infant aa stubborn as
— ever. Furthermore she insisted
