Shelly married Larry Rucker, a 1979
graduate of Boerne High School, and
Boerne became their home.
On Friday, February 22, 1985, at
1:42 p.m., Mr. and Mrs. Rucker
became the proud parents of an 8 lb.
6 oz. baby girl. Keara Marie Rucker
is the fifth generation of children,
being the great-great grand-
daughter of Rose Julia Richter. God
has blessed these families as they
grow on from generation to genera-
tion.

Dr. D. Leslie Hollon, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon L. Hollon of
Boerne, has accepted the pastorate
of the Wornall Road Baptist Church
in Kansas City, Mo.
Dr. Hollon, a graduate of Boerne
High School, where he was presi-
dent of the Student Body, earned
the Doctor of Philosophy Degree
from the Southern Baptist Theolo-
gical Seminary, Louisville, Ky., in
1984. He holds the Master of
Theology Degree from Southwest-
ern Baptist Theological Seminary,
Fort Worth, the Master of Divinity
Degree from Southern Seminary,

Rose Julia Notzon, born August 22, lived in Boerne for eight years. Her
1896, was born and raised in oldest child, Shelly Lackey-Rucker,
Koscusisko, Texas. While helping graduated as a cheerleader in the
her parents work on their farm, she top of her class from Boerne High
met Mike John Richter. The two of School in 1980. On January 29, 1983.

Dr. Hollon is married to Vickie peted in the District 13 4-H Horse
Lynn Hollon, a graduate of West Show June 28 and 29 in Del Rio.
Texas State University. They have Neal Fisher qualified for the State
two children, Rachel Lynn Hollon, 6, Show by placing 3rd in Halter
and Ryan Leslie Hollon, 2. Registered Mares over 5 years, and
Dr. Hollon was pastor of the 3rd in Showmanship at Halter Erin
Finchville, Kentucky, Baptist Kretzschmar was 2nd in Halter
Church prior to accepting the Mares over 5 years and Tammy
Kansas City post. Marquart was 9th.
