is selling barbecue sandwiches for $2 at the Cottonwood

Allen City Council
The regular meeting of Allen City Council is scheduled
to begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Municipal
Annex, One Butler Circle.
Items on the agenda include:
• Authorize execution of an agreement with the state
Highway Department for a safety lighting system for
U.S. 75.
■ Approve a policy establishing a code of conduct for the
library.
■ Authorize sale of certain assets of the Public Works
Department.
■ Introduction of the economic development coordi-
nator.
■ Authorize execution of contracts for biomedical tele-
metry monitoring and EMS medical director support for
paramedic programs.
• Consider accepting responsibility for construction of
the entryways into the Allen Cemetery.
■ Consider amendments to the city’s meeting room
policy.
■ Quarterly financial report.
■ Consider capital improvement projects for fiscal year
1989-90 using remaining bond funds.
