town, but these will all gradually grav-
itate to the railroad depot, and the new
town will soon be one of the largest as

Deep Creek rented and moved to Un-

Paradise, Oct. 12. — This correspon-
dent does not know when, by whom
or for what reason this town was given
the suggestive name of Paradise. I he
original town is about a mile south-
west of the new town of Paradise, but
all the business houses have been re-
moved to the new town: which is loca-
ted in a lovely prairie on the Rock Is-
nnd railroad thirty-six miles northwest
of Fun Wor iii. ihe old tow 11 was
founded some twenty years ago; the
new one was started in June last.
