Next Friday, November 23rd, the
lied River of the West Texas Cham-
her of Commerce brings its annual
convention to lie held in Decatur.
The business sessions will be conduet-
ed in the First Methodist churh and
the noon luncheon wil be held in the
dining hall of Decatur College. In-
vitatlons to the leading people of
many towns in the nine counties of
the district have Ihen mailed from
the office at Fort Worth and from
the local chamber of commerce.
Notable men from over Texas wili
be here to deliver timely addresses
and there will be a program of enter-
tainment. Decatur will derive a bene-
fit of statewide publicity froth the
occasion We are going te play the
part of host to a fine lot of eople,
and we should play it with al, the
propriety and vig« at our command.
Let us do everything we can to give
uul esteemed visitors a pleasant and
lasting impression of the town. And
