conditions in that country being

reply snys:
Silver is coined in Spain inly
on account of the government, and
is very limited. Spain has be-
come a part of the Latin Union.
It does not effect the contention
if silver is coined on account of
the government. The fact remains
that the gold of that country has
not been expelled, notwithstanding
the Gresham law. Here is an-
other fact. Spain has gained

during the past two years. Let

June 30, 1889 and June. 30, 1894,
