of the opinion that said petition
should be granted, and that said
election as prayed for should
be ordered, and,
WHEREAS, the CUMBY RU-
RAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT,
has heretofore adopted the pro-
visions of Article 2784e-l,
V A T C S . at an election
held on the 17th day of June,
1961, therefore,.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
CUMBY RURAL HIGH SCHOOL
DISTRICT
THAT an election be held in
said CUMBY RURAL HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT on the 22nd
day of June, 1968, which is not
less than ten (10) nor more than
(30) days from the date of this
order, at which election, in ac-
cordance with said petition, the
following proposition shall be
submitted to the resident quali-
fied electors and taxpaying vot-
ers of CUMBY RURAL SCHOOL
DISTRICT, who each owns tax-
able property in said District
and who has duly rendered the
same for taxation, for their ac-
tion thereupon
“SHALL the Board of Trus-
tees of CUMBY RURAL HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT of Hopkins
and Hunt Counties, Texas, be
authorized and empowered to
issue the bonds of said District,
pursuant to the authority of
Article 2784e 1, VAT C S.,
and to the amount of FORTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000)
for school building purposes
within the limits of said Dis-
trict, to wit the purchase, con-
struction, repair or equipment
of public free school buildings
and the purchase of necessary
sites therefor, said bonds to be
come due and payable serially
or otherwise in such install-
ments as may be fixed by the
Board of Trustees of said Dis
trict, and to bear interest at a
rate not to exceed the maxi-
mum prescribed by law at the
time of issuance but in no event
shall such rate exceed SIX PER
CENTUM i6'l per annum,
payable annually or semi-an-
nually; and shall there be an
nually assessed, levied and col-
lected on all taxable property
in said District for the current
year and each year thereafter,
while said bonds or any of them
or any interest thereon are out
standing, a tax sufficient to pay
the current interest on said
bonds and file principal thereof
as the same become due?"

be held at the City Hall, Cumby,
Texas, in the CUMBY RURAL
HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, and
the officers of said election shall
be as follows:
