New Club
Organization of an ex-association
of PALS—social club for girls in
Abilene Christian college—was per-
fected and officers were elected at
a meeting Monday evening of ex-
members of the club with the pres-
ent membership. The session was
held in the home of Doris Clonts.
Ruby Powers was named presi-
dent. with Mrs. Penn Olbreth as
her assistant; Mrs. Davis Scar-
borough was selected as corres-
ponding secretary, and Marguerite
Bell was made secretary-treasurer.
A complete list of all former
members was compiled and plans
were made for a November break-
fast. The next regular meeting will
