Tbe administrator of the estate of J.
K. F. Moeller deceased was authorized
to sell tbe remaining personal property
of the estate.
Report of the sale of land of the Fra-
zier minors by the guardian was ap-
proved. Tbe land embraces several lots
adjoining tbe San Fernando cemetery
and was purchased by Bishop Neraz
wltb the view to enlarging tbe ceme-
tery.
Bad Accident.
This morning about 10:30 o’clock Mr.
Hugh McDermott an old citizen ot this
city wbo resides at tbe corner of Av
enue E and Third street and who own*
one of tbe sanitary carts was riding one
of Carter A Mullaly’s sorrel back borses
od South Flores street. When In front of
thestockyard near Military plaza tbe
horse began pitching and finally threw
its rider to tbe bard ground. Mr. Mc-
Dermott waa thrown upon his face with
such force tbat he was stunned for sev-
eral moments and lay motionless and
bleeding until several friends took him
up and conveyed him home Id a hack.
Bsaides several cuts and bruises about
tbe face be received severe Internal in-
juries. The bone was captured.
Auction Sale.

evening very suddenly after a few short

present so much activity displayed as in

all its thereunto belongings. Just now
tbe millinery department of L. Wolfson
is tilled with a larger number of ladies
every day viewing and admiring and
making tbeir choice. “Isn’t It a beauty
isn’t it a darling” and similar
expressions are heard from tbe lips ot
admiring visitors all day. Tbe display in
straw goods tor tbe coming season Is
more than profuse in style and quality.
