the 1967 spring meet was held
Nov. 15 by representatives
from all-the schools of DIst.

at Medina Valley High School.
Medina Valley’s Supt. Matt
Bader, organizing chairman,
called the meeting to order.
William H. Holmes, assistant
principal of Judson Rural High
School, was elected director
general ot the upcoming meet.
Medina Valley Principal
Claude E. Schott was named
director’of the 1-act pay con-
test, while Ruble Farmer was
named director of. the typing
contest, and Miss Patricia
Hester, director, poetry inter-
pretation, both of Medina Val-
ley. Other directors were chos-
en from various schools in
Dist. 30A, including Sabinal,
Comfort,;. J u d s o n, Bandera,
Johnson City, and Marble
Falls. .
The 1st event, girls' volley-
ball meet, will take place in
Bandera March 10-11, followed
by the 1-act play’ contest at
Medina Valley April 1. Order
of plays includes Medina Val-
ley, 1; Marble Falls, 2; Ban-
dera, 3; Comfort, 4; and Jud-
son, 5. Also on April 1.will
be the elementary literary
dividual ribbon award* to each mem-
ber pf th« all-star icast. '

the tennis meet, in both eingles and
doubles. Highschol and elementary
school divisions wUl have the same
number of ribbons.
In the volleyball met, team rib-
