for the Sealy Volunteer
Fire Department’s
(SVFD) Christmas for a
Kid program. This year
we were able to hand
out 91 vouchers for $25
each that were
redeemable for chil-
dren’s toys at Sealy Wal-
Mart.
All of the money that
was.collected stays right
here in our own commu-
nity. Sadly, this year, as
in years past, there were
children in our commu-
nity who, without
Christmas for a Kid pro-
gram would not have
received any gifts for
Christmas.

Christian Food Pantry
for assisting us once
again by administering
this program. The staff
of the panty pre-quali-
fies all the recipients for
the program, and hands
out the vouchers to
those families who have
been selected during the
