Peggy S. Usery of Mullin, Mills
County, Texas, passed away on
Thursday, May 17, 2007 at
Abilene Regional Medical Center.
She was 76 years of age.
Peggy was bom June 18,1931
at Dallas,Texas to Carl J. Spornitz
and Jewel Rone Spornitz. She
married Samuel L. Usery on
March 11,1964 in Oklahoma. The
couple moved to Mullin, Texas
from Austin, Texas. Peggy was a
retired goat rancher and a Baptist.

Vera P. Sheppard was bom on Abilene, Texas and son William
March 17, 1914 to Joe and Evie Dean of Abilene, Texas. She is
Doggett in Caradan, Texas. She survived by six grandchildren,
went to heaven on May 20,2007 Pam Scogin, Steve Bailey, Kelly
in Abilene, Texas. Burris, Jamie Sheppard, Rollie
Vera married Rollie Sheppard, Sheppard and Kenneth Sheppard,
the love of her life, on March 21, She is also survived by seven

James Muse passed away Sat- grandchildren, 2 great grandchil-
urday, May 19,2007 at his home dren, one sister Mary Geeslin of

James was born September 7, Bellevue, Nebraska. He was pre-

Muse. He married Priscilla Ann May 23, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at
Hagan on January 27, 1961 in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home

from Waco to Goldthwaite in Herren officiating. Interment at
1970. James made his living as a Goldthwaite Memorial Cem-
