JUNIOR PLAY
The Juniors have selected
“Seeing Double” as their play
and are beginning to practice
this week. We plan to give it
the latter part of this month.
The characters will be announc-
ed in the near future.
SENIOR WHO’S WHO
This week’s senior girl is the
shortest one in our class. She’s
only 4 feet, 10 inches tall; a
brunette with green eyes. She
is not very talkative, but has a
grand personality. She espec-
ially likes to eat.
Our boy’s “who’s who” this
week is some contrast! This
boy is probably the tallest sen-
ior and definitely blonde; plays
football and basketball; does-
n’t like onions; favorite girl
friend is Lillian.
HONOR ROLL
Twelfth grade—Clare Beyer,
Boyce Bryan, Sophie Rochen,
Elf rieda Spreen; honorable
mention, Marjorie Brau, Elean-
or Muskiet.

EDITORIAL
• The ability to make and keep
friends is definitely a business
and social asset of first im-
portance. Here are some of the
essentials that all of us should
follow in order to be well liked.
Make an honest effort to avoid
gossiping and prying into the
private affairs of your friends
and acquaintances. Do you do
some irksome things each week
just simply to help out some-
one? You should. Go out of
your way, even at some incon-
venience to yourself, to give
others a helping hand. Is it
easy for you to cheer people
up? Would you willingly in-
troduce an attractive friend to
a boy or girl you have been
dating regularly and in whom
you have a good deal of inter-
est? Are you able to keep smil-
ing when the joke is on you?
Do you enjoy meeting and
talking to all kinds of people
regardless of background ?
Would you prefer being with a
crowd than being by yourself?
If you can truthfully say yes
to most of these, life will treat
you well, because you have one
on the greatest gifts of all—
friendliness.
CLASS CAPERS
Senior Report—The Seniors

The Junior Baseball Team
for county meet elected their
captain and co-captain Thurs-
day afternoon. They elected
Ora Dell Rinn for the position
of captain and Joyce Brune as

Their choice for suits was
maroon shorts and white shirts.
JUNIOR WHO’S WHO
She is a very capable girl of
the Junior Class, being the
treasurer of this class, and has
been a cheer leader of the Pep
Squad for the past two years.
She’s a brunette with dark
brown eyes, and weighs 115
pounds. Her greatest weakness,
at the time, being a certain
“Tea Sipper”; greatest dislike,
two-faced people; favorite food,
chicken; favorite sport, tennis;
Mt®0
and her favorite song is “The
Shrine of Saint Cecilia.”
Last week’s Junior girl was
Lillian Zapalka.
This week’s boy is 17 years
years old and weighs 137
pounds. He has dark brown
hair and dark eyes. He is 5
feet, 10 inches tall, and loves
lemon pie. His favorite song is
“Elmer’s Tune.” His weakness
is blondes and his dislike is
redheads. When not reading
popular science and popular me-
chanics he is operating the
picture show. Guess who? (If
you need any more information
ask Marjorie Brau.)
Last week’s boy was George
Cook.
KEYHOLE SCANDAL
Lillian Z. has a new heart
throb and he’s from Houston,
too.
Edith M. and Louis S. are
slowing down. What’s wrong,
Louis?
Blanche B. is home ill with
sinus trouble. Wonder if Leslie
will send her flowers?
Bubba and Cookie play oppo-
site Irma Ruth in the play—
sweet, isn’t it?
Where was June B. Monday
evening ?
Who were Tiny E.’s three
escorts to the show. Saturday
—and they come from Galves-
ton, too.
Dorothy K. is still receiving
letters from Earl — long ro-
mance.
So Johnnie F. isn’t going to
be in the play—too bad girls.
Kinch M. -still has interests
in Houston.
There is one Senior girl who
is very independent. Now,
don’t get me wrong, girls; a
