peace has been established be-
tween God and man through
Christ who atoned for the sins
of the world with His vicarious
suffering and death; and that
thru faith in Christ everyone
can and will surely get to heav-
en, —that is the heart and cen-
ter of the Lutheran Lenten
message, which is the message
of the Bible. There never was
day, when fear, hatred, war,
death, and hopelessness can be
seen and heard all about us. Oh,
how we sin-groping, and sin-
suffering human beings ought
to welcome the opportunity to
hear this sublime message of
reconciliation and peace with
God thru Christ this year; more
than ever before, accept it in
true faith, and thank God for
it from the bottom of our heart.
We therefore sincerely hope
and trust that not only all the
members of the Lutheran
Church, but also many others,
especially the unchurched, will
attend these mid-week Lenten
services, which will be held at
the Lutheran church of Sealy
every Wednesday night at 8:30

with Wed,, Feb. 18th, and con-
