Larry Adams ran for 8 yards in
two carries, but an incomplete
pass brought it to fourth down
and the Ponies punted away.
Panthers took the punt at their
own 43 yard line. The Pony de-
fense stopped any drive of the
Panthers and they had to punt
I larvey Adame carried the punt
to the Pony 45 yard line, but the
Ponies then fumbled away on the
next play.
Panthers fumbled it back
Ponies tried another drive with
quarterback Chris Rowland pas-
sing. Tom Welborn caught one of
Rowland’s passes but time ran out
on the Ponies.
Durbin couldn't connect and the
Ponies had to punt
There was an exchange of fum-
bles with Panthers turning over to
the Ponies then Ponies giving it
back to the Panthers The result
was a Panther scoring drive and a
Panther 20-0 lead
Ponies tried running and
Ponies tried passing to get on the
scoreboard but nothing was going
right for them Not even a punt
went well when the punt snap
sailed over the punter’s head and
the Panthers recovered it at at the
Pony 15 yard line.
From there, the Panthers
scored again for a 26-0 lead
The third quarter ended with
the Ponies trying todrive the ball
Most criminal types avoid well-lighted homes and businesses That’s why police
departments recommend Security Lighting as an ideal crime prevention tool
A high-efficiency CPL Security Light also means more fun outdoors. It comes
on at dusk, off at dawn - automatically. And you can enjoy one for as little as
pennies a day, including installation and maintenance,
and conveniently added to your monthly electric bill.

ter ended with Panthers leading
by 6-0.
In the second quarter, a punt
was returned by the Panthers for
their second score. Panthers
went for two and got it making it a
14-0 score
Ponies made some progress on
their next offensive series with
Larry Adams picking up a first
down But a fumble gave away the
ball to the Panthers
1 lalf time came with the Panth-
ers holding on to their 14-0 lead.
In the third quarter the Ponies

7th grade Ponies lose to AP
The 7th grade Ponies dropped a
game to the Aransas Pass Panth-
ers recently by a 26-0 score.
Panthers jumped out early as
on the opening kickoff they re-
turned for a touchdown
Then the Panthers on their
kickoff went for the onside kick
and recovered it. But they fum-
bled and gave it back to the
Ponies.
Then the Ponies fumbled it
back. Pony defense successfully
held the Panhters on the Pony 10
yard line. Larry Adams and Matt
