•'candidates of their choice and
to decide on a 1 per cent city
sales tax.
Both the city Council elec-
tion and the Medina Valley
School Board election will be
•held Saturday, April 6, as will
the sales tax election.
There are 3 council seats
up for grabs.
The term of Sammy Tschir-
hart is fexpiting and he is
seeking re e l e c t io n. Glenn
Hans’ term also is expiring,
but he is not seeking reelec-
tion. Miss Ruth C. Lawler’s
term also is expiring, and she
has filed for reelection.
The 3 other candidates for
the council posts are Mrs. W.
C. Evans, Robert Bayer, and
Emery Delavan.
The terms of Mayor Charles
L. Suehs and Councilmen Joe
Raygosa and Raymond Hoog
do hot expire uhtil next
spring. '
