The Women of the Moose Chapter
1676 was honored by having a co-
worker of our Chapter win the title of
"Texas Co-Worker of the Year."
The co-worker is ourown Jr. Gradu- I
ate Regent Dorothy Ray.
There are a large number of Chap- l
tors throughout the State of Texas, as
this was a great honor to be chosen.
This honor was bestowed on
Dorothy Ray st the Texas Moose Ano-
clation Mid Year Conference held in
Houston on Feb. 24-26, 1989.
This award was presented to the co-
worker who contributed the most to
her Chapter, Lodge, and Community
throughout the past year.
Dorothy is most deserving of this
award as she is a great inspiration to
us all, and led us to an outatanding

CCHA to hear "Medicine in Early Texas"
Brittany Renae Rothe is happy to
announce the birth of her sister, Ch-,
ateea Marie. She was born Feb. IS,
1989 at 4:04 a.m. at the Southwest
Teacas Methodist Hoapital in San An
tonio, Chelaea weighed 7.1b 4 oz and
dhessured 19 1/4 inches.
Her proud parents are John and
Kim Rothe of Castroville.
The happy grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. Maurice Pettibon of Cas-
troville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rothe of
D’Hanis and the great-grandmother,
Mary Pettibon of Castroville.

They had all signed a birthday card
for him.
Mrs. Claudia Jungman, the secre-
tary at the Intermediate School,
planned the party. Ma. Terry Geiger
made the beautiful birthday cake.
Mr. Allen said he enjoyed the party.
He also said it was the best birthday he
ever bad.
