Notes

Item text: "Dear Grandmother: I received your letter of the past and was really glad to hear from you. I am well and do hop this will find you the same. At the present time everything here is O.K. In my last letter I did not tell you where I am. I'm "Somewhere in Hawaii." I haven't heard from Johnnie as yet but have heard from the rest of the fellows. Tell Kemp to learn all he can about his particular field and don't give up, because there will always be room for one who is really qualified. There isn't very much I can tell you about this place now. But someday I'll be able to tell you all about it. I close with love to you all. As ever your Grandson, Cpl. James Christian"
