For local fisherman, a new business has opened up, which will cater to their fishing needs. Jan and James
PUsket have opened Fisherman’s Paradise, a fishing pond that is filled with 4,000 pounds of catfish, that are
raised in Lonoke, Arkansas. Fisherman’s Paradise, which is located on North Highway 35, sits on five acres
of land and has two acres of water. The fishing is free, and lucky fishermen who catch the tasty meal pay by
the pound. Fisherman s Paradise is open daily from 8 a.m. until dark and use of poles is available at no
charge. Inset in the larger photo is a newly released fish.
