Have you ever gone for a week or a month without cleaning your house or your office or
your refrigerator? What a mess it can be!
You may never have considered it but our minds can get cluttered and messy just like
the physical places in which we live.
Every day we tend to accumulate all kinds of unwholesome, unhealthy thoughts and atti-
tudes. They can pie up in our heads like dirty clothes in the laundry room and cause guilt or
fear or resentment that is completely unnecessary.
We all know how to clean house, but do we know how to ‘clean up' our minds? The
process is simple: We discard the worn out, useless, rotten thoughts and replace them with
new, wholesome, fresh, clean ones.
We can change our lives by changing our thoughts We can change our attitudes because
they are nothing more than habits of thought. We are what we think and it is truly amazing
what thinking good thoughts can do for us!
