Bridesmaids were Miss Cynthia
Bayer and Miss Caryn Suhl, both
of Houston. They were gowned
alike in formal dresses of soft
peach maracine jersey.
Gary Rifkin, the groom’s
brother, served as best man.
Groomsmen were the groom’s
brother Tom Rifkin, Alton
Ruback and Larry Cackin, all of
Omaha. Ushers included Steven
Wolfson, the bride’s uncle of San
Antonio and Rick Kraft of
Houston.
A reception dinner followed
the ceremony at the Faculty
Club, Cohen House of the Rice
University. Members of the
houseparty were Mrs. Jaynie
Ruback of Omaha and Mrs.
Abbe Garfinkle of Houston.
The bride’s mother selected a
designer gown of flowing chiffon
in coral with ostrich feather
trim. The groom’s mother chose
a designer gown of mint green
silk shantung with lace trim.
Following a honeymoon to
the West Coast and Las Vegas,
the couple will reside in Houston
until early Fall when they will
make their home in Scottsdale,
Arizona.
Arthur Howard Lang, son of
Mr. and Mrs Lawrence E Lang,
will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah at
Cong. Brith Shalom on Friday,
Aug. 23, 8:15 p.m., and
Saturday, Aug. 24, 10:15 a.m.

The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Willian Fink of
Houston and the granddaughter
of Mrs. Rosalie Danburg and the
late August Danburg, and of
Mrs. Ann Redman and the late
Harry Fink, all of this city. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Rifkin of Omaha, Nebr.
Given in marriage by her
parents, the bride selected a
formal designer gown in
candlelight silk organza and
re-embroidered beaded Alencon
lace. The molded bodice
featured a victorian neckline and
transparent yoke enhanced with
lace. The A-line skirt of silk
organza over taffeta adorned
with the lace motifs was
completely etched with
matching lace and fell gracefully
to the floor. Her large brim hat
with a deep flounce of lace was
marked with an ivory satin
ribbon bow and streamers to
cascade with illusion to floor
length.
