Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets, the
substitute for calomel, act gently on the
bowels and positively do the work.
People afflicted with bad breath find
quick relief through taking them.
Dr. Edwards’ Olive Tablets are a
vegetable compound mixed with olive
oil. They act gently but firmly on the
bowels and liver, stimulating them to
natural action, clearing the blood, and
purifying the entire system. They do
that which calomel does, without any of
the bad after effects. Take one or two
every night for a week and note the
pleasing effect. 10c and 25c a box.

Thin, pale, anaemic men and
women are starving their blood.
They are simply not supplying to
the blood the oxygen, iron and.,
cell-salts that the blood must have
in order to maintain the health and
vigor of the body.
The red blood cells and the white
blood cells are constantly warring
in the blood. If you starve the
red blood cells, which vitalize the
blood and build up the body, the
blood becomes thin, and full of
white blood cells, and the body
starves until it becomes thin and
emaciated, weak and sick.
Healthy blood makes the entire
body healthy. Rich, red blood,
vitalized with oxygen, iron and the
cell-salts that Nature must have to
keep the body well, or make it well
if it is sick, will renew the strength
and restore vigor and vitality.
REOLO, the wonderful discov-
ery of Dr. A. L. Reusing, rapidly
increases the number of red blood
cells, and supplies the oxygen, iron
and cell-salts that make rich, red
blood, vitalized with oxygen and
rich in the plasma and cell-salts
that nourish the cells of the body,
and restore strength and health.
REOLO is sold under the Posi-
tive Guarantee that if it does not
give you renewed strength and en-
ergy your money will be returned
gladly.
Each package of REOLO con-
tains 100 pleasant, tasteless tablets,
sufficient for two weeks’ treatment,
and only costs one dollar.
REOLO is sold in Galveston by Star

At a meeting held last night at
the Beach hotel, the Galveston Beach
Association was organized, by owners
of concessions along the seawall, the
purpose of the association being,to cen-
tralize efforts and co-operate with oth-
er municipal organizations in amusing
tourists and Galveston people who fre-
quent the beach during the summer.
Officers were elected and W. L. Roe
was named as publicity agent for the
association.
“The purpose of the organization,”
said Mr. Roe, “is to co-operate with
the Galveston Commercial Association
and the Young Men’s Progressive
League in whatever they may do to
bring traffic to the beach resorts dur-
ing the summer. Our plans are not to
interfere in any way with what they
do. In other words the thousands of
dollars the Commercial Association
spends in advertising will bring out-
siders here, and we will do everything
we can to keep them here and amuse
them while here.
or for violation of the school regula-
According to tentative plans, the
beach season will be opened, under
the direction of the new associa-
tion, with a big “splash,” after which
a regular schedule of entertainments
will be maintained.
It is proposed to have short speed
auto races along the seawall drive,
while days will be set aside for picnic
parties. One of the possible features
will be a May-pole dance given for the
school children of the city at the end
of the school season this year.
An office will be established by the
association at the beach, with Mr. Roe
in charge, for the purpose of giving
information as to anything pertaining
to beach amusements and for general
publicity work.
Members of the organization will go
before the Galveston Commercial Asso-
ciation at its meeting next Friday in
efforts to get the co-operation of that
body in the plan.
The new association drew up a set
of by-laws and constitution at its meet-
ing last night, and will hold regular
weekly meetings in future.
The following are the officers
elected:
W. H. Rickert, president; J. E. Strat-
ford, first vice president; C. E. Barfield,
second vice president; R. S. Lindamood,
treasurer; W. L. Roe, secretary and
general manager. Directors: T. C.
Slaton, Jack Pierce, P. L. Sanders, G. K.
Jorgensen, Louis Seigel and Jules
Block.
The association will have a special
meeting of its officers tomorrow night,
after which they will have regular
weekly meetings on Monday nights.
