in Camp Travis in honor of Mrs. Ed-

nesday afternoon complimenting Mrs.

compliment Col. Augustine Mclntyre
with a dinner party Wednesday even-
ing at their quarters.

Miss Irene Steffler was hostess at
a miscellaneous shower Friday after-
noon in honor of Miss Clara Schu-
mann whose marriage is to take place
after Easter. Bunco was played and
prises were won by Miss Anetta Ham-
pel. Miss Stella Stricker and Mrs.
Scbora.
The dining table was attractive with
white ribbons caught at all corners of
the table and coming to the center
were caught at the chandelier with a
large white bow. Small ribbon stream-
ers were hanging from the bow and
tied to each streamer were wedding
bells. Bride place cards and pastel
shades of rose-shaped nut baskets
marked covers for: Misses Katherine
Rilling. Anetta Hampel Nora Braun-
schweig. Erna Hampel. Georgia Rill-
