Senior Notes
Pet of the Week
Ally is a very affectionate little girl. She is
around 7 weeks old. Ally is not housetrained but
is working toward crate training. She is very
treat motivated and loves to play ball. Ally
needs a home that will provide her with plenty
of attention and patience. Ally will also need an
indoor home with access to a very secure back-
yard for exercise and play. This little girl will
make a great running partner. Visit Ally and
many other adoptable pet companions at The
Colony Animal Control Center. All of the cen-
ter’s pets can be viewed at www.petfinder.com.
The shelter is at 4720 E. Lake Highlands. For
information, call 972-370-9250. Shelter hours
are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. To adopt a pet from
the center, the following is required: a pre-paid
receipt from an animal clinic for a rabies vacci-
nation and a spay/neuter surgery, a $20 adop-
tion fee, a state issued picture I.D., and an
agreement to have the animal vaccinated and
spayed or neutered by a specific date.
These events are
taking place at The
Colony Community
Center. The center is
at 5151 N. Colony
Blvd. The phone num-
ber is 972-624-2246.
