Police arrest six
on drug charges
FROM STAFF REPORTS
Three drug-related search warrants were exe-
cuted over two days last week by The Colony
Police Department’s Criminal Investigations
Division and Special Response Team, according to
a release from the department.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 9, a nar-
cotics search warrant was served in the 6300 block
of Jennings Drive. Police found marijuana at the
residence and arrested two individuals for posses-
sion, Howard Barry and Ashley Lively, both of The
Colony.
Also on Sept. 9, a narcotics search warrant was
executed at a residence in the 5700 block of Baker
Drive. Marijuana was found at the location, and
police arrested Natividad Meraz Jr. of The Colony
and Kurtis Staley of Little Elm on possession
charges.
On the morning of Sept. 10, a search was con-
ducted at a residence in the 5000 block of Stanley.
Hashish, heroin and other drug-related parapherna-
lia were discovered. Justin Whitlock and Sabrenah
Mendoza were arrested for possession of a con-
trolled substance.
All individuals were transported to The Colony
Jail, where they were later arraigned. Further
charges may be forthcoming as a result of the war-
rants and all arrests occurred without incident,
stated the release.

have an increased
risk of irregular
heart beating,
based upon the
severity of the
