METHODS
Field and laboratory procedures used during this survey are described in
Appendix A. Field data and water samples were collected on August 13 and
14, 1984 by the Texas Department of Water Resources Water Quality Assess-
ment Unit personnel. Time-of-travel studies were completed on August 17.
Laboratory analyses were conducted by the Texas Department of Health
Chemistry Laboratory in Austin, Texas. Parametric coverage, sampling
frequencies and spatial relationship of sampling stations are consistent with
the objectives of the survey and with known or suspected forms and
variability of pollutants entering the segments.2
