decreased 6.0 percent from July's figures. Rio Grande fell 25.3
percent, Del Rio decreased 17.9 percent, Eagle Pass declined 17.8
percent, Brownsville dipped 17.3 percent, Progreso slid 15.2 per-
cent. Laredo fell 9.4 percent and Roma was down 0.2 percent.
However, McAllen-Hidalgo gained 44.9 percent. YTD revenuefigures were down 9.5 percent compared to August 1997. Laredo,
accounting for 62.9 percent of total District revenues, was down
15.1 percent YTD and McAllen-Hidalgo with 16.2 percent of total
revenues, was down 0.4 percent YTD. Eagle Pass, accounting for
10.3percentofall revenuesYTD, wasup 19.7percent. Brownsville,
