big rummage sale is planned for

Wal-Mart on Saturday, Nov. 22,
starting at 7:30 a.m.
The Rainbow Senior Center’s
annual Christmas Shoppe will be
open from november 10 through
November 28. Seniors will be
assisting the Agricultural Heritage
Center with their annual barbecue
on Saturday, August 23. Seniors will
be selling tickets for that event.
A parade float will be entered in
the Kendall County Fair parade on
August 30. Carolyn Stauss is in
charge of the float plans. Her num-

The Center expresses its appreci-
ation to Riverview Care Center for
sending two persons to deliver
Meals on Wheels each Friday.
They also thank Hill Country
Home Health Agency for regular
blood pressure checks for seniors.

Ag Center hosts barbecue on Aug. 23
The 10th Annual World Famous Ag Center Barbecue will take place at
the Agricultural Heritage Center on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. The Ag
Center is located at the City Park next to the City Swimming Pool.
Entertainment will be furnished by the Boerne Village Band. The Ag
Centers boasts the “world’s best barbecue.”
Renowned chef Gray Majirus and his well-seasoned staff will prepare the
feast. The cost of the meal and entertainment is by donation. Funds will be
used to construct a pioneer house on the Ag Center. Door prizes will be
given and an auction will be held.
