St. Johns Lutheran Church
Taryn Jade Wenzel and Daniel
Lee Ellenbarger were wed Saturday,
October 25, 1997 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church in Boerne with
Pastor Henry Schulte officiating.
Parents of the bride are Larry and
Deb Wenzel of Fair Oaks Ranch.
Parents of the groom are Dixie and
Dennis Ellenbarger of Boerne.
The bride wore a puffed sleeve,
off the shoulder ball gown of bridal
satin. The bodice, skirt front and
entire hemline and cathedral train
were adorned with Maderia
Embroidery and accented with
pearls and opaline sequins. A finger-
tip length veil flowing from a pearl
and sequin tiara was accented in the
back with a full pouf of veiling. She
carried a cascading bouquet of red
roses.

as accompanist.

Roegelein of Austin. Bridesmaids
were Amy Culak of Boerne, Erica
Northcutt of San Marcos and Kelly

bridesmaid was Jordan Ellenbarger
daughter of the groom.

Wenzel (twin brother of the bride,

was held at the Fair Oaks Ranch
Golf & Country Club.
The couple are headed on a cruise
to the Bahamas and will reside in

Springs, gave a program to the Fair Oaks Ranch Garden Club on
attracting wildlife to gardens by, adding food, water and shelter.
With her on the left is Maureen Parker, president and Lorraine
Smith, program chairman. The Fair Oaks Ranch Garden Club will
meet Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the home of Bobbi Ringel. She will be
assisted by Marilyn MacLean and Regina Gallus. The program

Byron and Patsy Rogers were honored at a reception on their
50th anniversary Saturday, October 18. The reception was held
at the Rogers’ home and hosted by their children David and
Sharon Rogers of Lake Jackson; Richard and Trish Schwab of
Boerne, and Bart Rogers of Boerne. The Rogers expressed
their appreciation to all the friends and family members who
made the celebration such a joyous occasion.
