Family Services providing
encourages book donations
As in years past, Hill Country
Family services is working wiht the
community to help provide food,
clothing, and toys for families in
need at Christmas. For the second
year, Read All About It Bookstore is
working with Family Services to
encourage patrons to donate books
as Christmas gifts for these chil-
dren.
Here’s how it works: Go by Read
All About It Book Store in the vil-
lage at Ye Kendall inn and purchase
a children’s book at a 20% discount,
and the bookstore staff will wrap it,
tag it, and deliver it to Hill Country
Family Services in time for
Christmas. They will place your
name on the gift tag, or, if you pre-
fer, you can make your donation
anonymously.
Ann Reissig, Operating Director
for Hill Country Family Services,
has given the store guidance regard-
ing the types of books that would be
appropriate for the children, and the
staff at the store will be happy to
give you suggestions to help ypu
make a selection.
Many of the books cost less thatn
$5 and, of course, your donation is
tax deductible. As you prepare for
the holidays with your family, we
hope you will find it in your heart to
help brighten the season for a less
fortunate child.
Read All Aboput It Bookstore is
located in the red schoolhouse
building in the Village at Ye
Kendall Inn, 128 West Blanco.
If you need more information on
how the program works, call Matt
or Darla at 249-READ.

but in church windows. Come and celebrate Christmas
with us in the worship and wonder of God’s love.
