Mr. and Mrs. Curt Behnke
On December 12 Curt Behnke and Bobbie Hale became husband and
wife. The couple met at the Kendalia Halle and dated for a period of time
before Curt popped the question. And since they met at the Halle, they
decided to get married there. The ceremony was performed by Bishop James
E. Bennet, of Southwestern Texas Synod, E.L.C.A.
Guests attending were Curt’s son, Marcus Behnke and family from Alzey,
Germany; brothers, Ben Behnke and wife from Mesa, Az., John Behnke and
wife from Peshpego, Wi.; godson, Kim Behnke from Peshpego, Wi; niece,
Susan Polzin from Merinette, Wi.; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Williams of Vine
Beach, Va.; Ron and Debbie Flieshman from Moore, Ok.; Mike and Nell
Cocoran of Lytle.
Attending the wedding from the bride’s family was daughter, Bonnie
Muerer and family; the bride’s mother and father, Ruth and Bob Hale of
Kendalia; brother, Shandy Hale and family from Blanco.
The wedding was also attended by many of the couple’s friends. A dance
followed the wedding with music by Tom & Classic Country. Despite the
freezing cold, everyone had a great time.
