• The Boerne Police Department will be con-
ducting a Magic Show to raise money for the
D.A.R.E. Program (Drug Abuse Resistance
Education). This program is taught by the
Boerne Police Department at Fair Oaks Ranch
Elementary, Curington Elementary and Fabra
Elementary. Money raised will be utilized to buy
materials for the program. Show times are 5 p.m.
and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $9 for
children. Site is at the Boerne High School
Auditorium.
• Toys for Kids Trail Ride will be conducted in
Bandera. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. at the
Hill Country State Natural Area. 10 miles out
R.R. 1077 (Dixie Dude Road) then follow the

limited. Cost is $8 per person, check to AARP
preferred. Upon completion a certificate will be
given, which may entitle students to an auto dis-
count. AARP membership is not required. Don’t

tions.
• The regularly scheduled meeting of AARP
will be conducted at the Rainbow Center at 1
p.m. All interested citizens are welcome to
