How to Handle a Gun.
Il'inliltoln llr II u t llt'M t ILwll-yt.
The first thing to do when jou go out
gunning with another boy Is to guard
yourself ngnlnst accident. The best
way to do this Is to shoot the other boy
before he has time Iu lond his gun.
Then tnke both guns to the nearest
creek nnd throw them In. Throw the
powder nnd shot In after them. If you
have any matches about your clothes
throw them In nleo. Then start nt once
nnd go home ns fast as ever J on can.
And If you are under 18 years young the
chances nre. even with these precnu-
tlons that you will get both legs nnd a
section of your back tilled to the brim
with bird shot before you reach home.
