An $80.00 Farm Wagon Free to Some One
on December 23rd, 1905, at 4 o’clocl
I
Time changes and we change with it. Time was when all merchants had to do was to stand behind the counter
and rake in the “shekeis.” Advertising was looked upon as a sort of fad for city merchants only--not so now-a-
days. Conditions require merchants these times not only to be alive to his customers’ every interest, but he must
also be duly appreciative. We gladly subscribe to the conditions and take every opportunity to keep in touch
with our customers. We never lose sight of the fact that our remaining in business depends upon your patronage.
AS A FURTHER EVIDENCE OF OUR APPRECIATION OF OUR CUSTOMERS
FAVORS WE ARE GOING TO SPEND THE ABOVE AMOUNT TO GO
DIRECTLY TO SOME ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS RATHER THAN SPEND
IT IN NEWSPAPERS, CIRCULAR, DODGERS, ETC. : : : : :
We have purchased one of the best wagons Hughes Bros, carry in stock and this firm stands sponsor for its superior quality.
Examine it when you are in town-a 3-inch “Crescent” wagon, with sheet and bows--worth Eighty Gold Dollars.
With every $1.00 purchase you will be entitled to write your name on a slip of paper and deposit it in a can made for the
purpose. On December 23rd, 1905, at 4 o’clock p. m. a name will be drawn therefrom and this name will own the wagon.
There will be no confusion or mishap, but the drawing will take place and the wagon given away that time. No one of the
firm will be allowed to participate in any manner whatever. Judge P. S. Hale will superintend the awarding of wagon.
Tickets will be issued for the Wagon commencing Saturday, Sept. 30th, 1905, and close at 4 o’clock p. m. Dec. 23rd, 1905.
And now just a few words about DRY GOODS, SHOES, CLOTHING, ETC. We haven’t time to write a sermon,
but will give you some prices out of several departments and if these are not CHEAPER than you can buy them else-
where then we don’t ask you to consider our case any further. Lots of people tell us we save them money and
we know you will add your testimony if you let us supply your Dry Goods wants. Notice the following: : :
