Victoria Recently
Funeral services for Mrs. S. A.
Brandl, Sr., former Sealy resi-
dent, were conducted by Rev.
Joseph Pustka at St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church Thursday, Mar.
18, at 9:30 a.m. Monsignor F. O.
Beck of Victoria delivered a
beautiful and consoling sermon.
Interment took place in St. Jos-
eph Catholic Cemetery following
the service.
Pallbearers were Frank Pav-
licek of Victoria, C. J. Heimlich
of Yoakum, Edmund Sikora of
Hungerford, Adolph Sikora of
Wharton, F. K. Bucek and Ed-
mund Bucek of Hallettsville.
Frank Bucek, of Kennedy, and
a former employee in a local
bank, is a brother of the deceas-
ed, who leaves a host of friends
here to mourn her death.

4-H Club Last Week
Joe Minks was named presi-
dent by a group of Wallis high
school boys who met last week to
organize a 4-H Club in the Wal-
lis community. County Agent
Wm. E. A. Meinscher met with
approximately twenty youths,
and formed the basis for a 4-H
organization there.
Robert Lee Fojt was made
vice-president, and Frankie Mo-
zola became secretary-treasurer.
Bobbie Egger was named report-

Another meeting was held at
the school Tuesday forenoon.
