A tremendous washout occurred dur-
ing the storms out West on tho South-
ern l'acllla railway between Spoll'ord
Junction and Kagle Pass about II miles
from Kagle Pass whereby n heavy
loaded freight train was badly wrecked
and Knglueer Mills was killed outright.
No one else was hurt. Fragments or the
wreck cover the road for some distance
