day Sept 23.
Why Southern Farmers Should Vote
Against Harrison.
Because lie lias favored taritl legisla-
tion which tins had a tendency to re-
duce the markets for agricultural pro-
ducts. Although there has been a
great abundance in this country and a
famine abroad the value of tiio agri-
cultural products exported in 1891
was $612751.341. while in 1881 it was
$730894913 or nearly $103000000
more. On the other hand our ex-
ports of manufactures have nearly
doubled In that time so that a protec-
tive tariil such as Mr. Harrison favors
cuts down the profits of the farmers
and restricts their market. Because
he favors the infamous force bill.
For these and many other reasons
no Southern farmer can afford to vote
for Mr. Harrison or his ••aider mate-
rialy indirectly" Mr. Weaver.
Hakbihon's cabinet are scared lest
their chief meets defeat and will take
the stump for him.
Gov. Eagle's condition is much
improved and if no backset prevents
he will soon be convalescent.
Tariff reform is the all important
issue in this country and Democracy
will triumph in its advocacy.
As long as the South continues to
send off for products that could easily
bo raised here just so long will she
suffer from hard times and the lack
of propperity.
Both McCullogli and Dinsmore
nominees for Congress in this Stale
are young men and fine orators.
Both will be elected and will make
their mark in the House.
A late fashion magazine an-
nounces that the toque is the bonnet
that is coming to slay. We are not
apprised v.s to what a toque is hut if
it is less than a foot high its coming
will be hailed with joy by opera goers.
Arkansas will exhibit nt the

areas arable lands wheat corn and
cotton regions timber and prairie

Every blow struck against the Dem
ocratic party is one struck in favor of
Republican triumph and iniquity.
The Republican henchmen who con-
ceived the Third parly scheme and
are masquerading us the farmers' sav-
iors and friends are the allies of plu-

tooted by laws created by Republicans.;

Cotton Seed Hulls.
We are now putting up Cotton
Seed Hulls in bales weighing 100
pounds each thus enabling dealers and
consumers to handle and store them
more conveniently than hay. '1 he
bales are 22 inches long and 18x14
wide and only one half the size of the
smallest bale of bay. (’otton Seed
Hulls are now recognized as being
superior to hay both for fattening
ami milk producing and when mixed
with a small proportion of our cotton
seed meal it surpasses any cattle food
in the market. Being much cheaper
than hay or bran should recommend
it to every one who feeds cattle. For
