The land includes 19.057 acres
for the U. S. 83 west bypass. The
balance is for U. S. 80, all in Pre-
cinct 2 (from Tye west to the coun-
ty line).
The hearings will be conducted
in the county courtroom.
A second day of hearings is
pending in County Court for 19.-
057 acres of the land Some of this
concerns engineering easements.
The county, through Rucker, has
thus far bought approximately 475
acres of the total right - of - way
at a cost of approximately $454,000
(Cost of some of the condemned
land is still a matter of dispute
since some of the jury of view-

All the land for U. S. 80 from Tye
to the Taylor-Nolan County line
will have been purchased or con-
demned at the conclusion of the
Dec. 9 hearings.

to be purchased for the bypass
after Nov. 4.
