Griffith Randles, 72, of Fort
Worth will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at College Avenue
Baptist Church, with burial
at 4 p.m. in Goldthwaite
Memorial Cemetery in Gold-
thwaite. She died Tuesday,
March 17, 1981 at a Ft.
Worth hospital after a brief
illness.
She grew up in Goldth-
waite, in Mills County, and
lived there until moving to
Fort Worth in 1942. She
was a longtime employee of
Stripling’s Department
stores. She was a member .
of College Avenue Baptist
Church and the World War
I Ladies Auxiliary.
She was president of the
Lone Star Barracks No. 15
Auxiliary and was editor of
its newsletter. She served
as a precinct election judge
and was a member of the
Degree of Honor Society.
Survivors include a son,
Travis Randles of Alexan-
dria, La.; a daughter, Patty
Huckleberry of Arlington;
and four grandchildren.
